Best-of Guide
The Best All-Inclusive Golf Resorts
Our top pick is Sandals Grande St. Lucian, from $320 per person per night as of September 2026 — scored 9.0, with complimentary green fees at the Greg Norman-remodeled Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club at Cap Estate and free transfers from the nearby Sandals resorts, all inside a rate that also covers scuba, airport transfers, gratuities and twelve restaurants. The budget pick is Sandals Regency La Toc at $288 per person per night, the cheapest resort we publish a rate for that includes golf. If you want a course on the property rather than a shuttle to one, Dreams Playa Mujeres in Mexico sits on a Greg Norman-designed eighteen holes with complimentary guest access.
The important thing to establish before the list: in this category golf is almost never included. Most resorts marketed as all-inclusive golf resorts offer preferential or discounted green fees at a course nearby, which is a different product and a very different week's cost. The genuinely inclusive list is short and it is dominated by two couples-only brands — Sandals, whose own golf pages state complimentary green fees for guests in the Bahamas and St. Lucia, and Couples Resorts in Jamaica, which includes unlimited golf. Sandals has also brought in Troon to expand golf across its portfolio, so this is a list worth re-checking.
And even where green fees are included, the cart often is not. Sandals' own Emerald Bay page states that golf carts are mandatory but not included, listing a US$50 rate for up to two people, while one third-party listing describes a shared cart and caddy as included — so confirm the cart terms for your dates rather than assuming. Every entry below says exactly what is in the rate, what is discounted and what is still charged. Where we have published a full scored review, the entry links to it.

How we chose
We ranked on whether green fees are genuinely inside the all-inclusive rate, then on the course, then on what is still charged — the cart being the line that most often survives. Resorts offering only preferential or discounted green fees are included where the course is strong enough to matter, but they are labeled as discounted rather than included, because the distinction is worth hundreds of dollars over a week. Inclusion claims come from brand golf pages and the published reporting we cite; where sources disagree, we print the disagreement rather than resolving it. Reviewed properties carry our rubric score.
Complimentary green fees at a Greg Norman-remodeled course, with transfers from the resort included — inside the most complete inclusive rate on the page.
Sandals' own golf page states complimentary green fees for all Sandals guests in St. Lucia, along with free transfers from the nearby Sandals resorts to the newly remodeled Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club at Cap Estate, a Greg Norman remodel. That is the cleanest inclusion on this page: the round, the course and the ride to it are all inside the rate.
The resort around it is also the best one here. Grande St. Lucian scores 9.0 in our review, with a published 311 rooms and twelve restaurants, St. Lucia's only overwater accommodation on site, and two dedicated butlers per overwater bungalow. Scuba, airport transfers, gratuities and premium spirits are in the rate alongside the golf, so a golf week here has almost no variable cost.
The catches: Sandals is couples-only, so a golf trip with friends cannot book; Hewanorra is a long winding transfer from Gros Islet; and the overwater bungalows are an upcharge above the $320 anchor. One published roundup states that green fees are not included with the Sandals package, which contradicts the brand's own golf page — we go with the official source and recommend confirming at booking.
The good
- Complimentary green fees per Sandals' own golf page, with free transfers from nearby Sandals resorts
- A Greg Norman-remodeled course at Cap Estate, and our 9.0-scored resort around it
- Scuba, transfers, gratuities and twelve restaurants in the same rate — a golf week with little variable cost
The trade-offs
- Couples-only: a golf trip with friends cannot book here
- The course is a shuttle from the resort, not on the property
- One published roundup disputes the inclusion; confirm green fees and cart terms at booking
#2 · Best course on site
Sandals Emerald Bay
Sandals
A Greg Norman championship course on the property with complimentary green fees — and a mandatory cart Sandals states is not included.
Emerald Bay is the brand's golf flagship: a Greg Norman-designed championship course on the resort itself, on Great Exuma, with Sandals' own site stating complimentary green fees for all Sandals Emerald Bay guests. For a golfer who wants to walk from the room to the first tee rather than take a shuttle, this is the entry.
It is the one resort on this page where the course is the reason the property is famous, and the Exuma setting — remote, low-density, famously clear water — is a genuine draw beyond the golf.
Two honest catches. First, the cart: the official page states that golf carts are mandatory but not included and lists a US$50 rate for up to two people, while one third-party listing describes a shared cart and caddy as included. Those cannot both be right, so confirm before you fly. Second, Great Exuma is a connection for most US travellers rather than a direct flight, and it is couples-only like the rest of the brand. We have not published a full scored review of Emerald Bay.
The good
- A Greg Norman championship course on the resort itself, with complimentary green fees per Sandals' own site
- Great Exuma is remote, low-density and spectacular water
- The brand's golf flagship, inside the complete Sandals inclusive rate
The trade-offs
- Carts stated as mandatory and NOT included on the official page, at US$50 for up to two — sources disagree
- Great Exuma usually means a connection rather than a direct US flight
- Couples-only, and no full scored review from us
#3 · Best inclusion terms
Couples Resorts
Couples Resorts
Unlimited golf inside the rate, a stocked bar in every room, and no tipping anywhere. The most complete golf inclusion in the category.
Couples Resorts is the other couples-only Caribbean brand and the one with the most generous golf wording we have found: unlimited golf is included, alongside a stocked bar in every room and a no-tipping policy across all four Jamaican properties. Where Sandals includes the green fee, Couples includes the rounds without a cap.
On our value coverage it also holds the category's cleanest record on the thing that ruins a cheap week — the departure bill. For a golfer who intends to play most days, unlimited beats complimentary-per-round in practice.
The catches are scale and geography. Four resorts in one country means no island choice, and the resort-specific inclusions do not generalise: Dunn's River Falls comes with the Ocho Rios resorts and a catamaran cruise with the Negril ones, not with Sans Souci or Tower Isle. Three of the four are au naturel. We have not published a scored review of a Couples property, so there is no rubric number here, and the exact cart and course terms should be confirmed per resort.
The good
- Unlimited golf included — the most generous inclusion wording in the category
- A stocked bar in every room and no tipping anywhere on property
- Couples-only like Sandals, with the cleanest departure bill we have found
The trade-offs
- Four resorts, all in Jamaica — no island choice
- Inclusions are resort-specific and do not generalise across the four
- Three of the four are au naturel; no scored review from us
#4 · Best for families
Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort
Dreams (Hyatt Inclusive Collection)
Complimentary access to the Greg Norman-designed Playa Mujeres course, and the only entry here that takes families.
This is the family answer, and it is the strongest Mexican entry: golfers get complimentary access to the eighteen-hole Greg Norman-designed championship course at Playa Mujeres, and unlike the two couples-only brands above, Dreams will sell to a family. For a golf trip where one parent plays and the rest of the party wants a resort, that combination is rare.
Playa Mujeres sits north of Cancun rather than in the Hotel Zone, which buys a calmer and materially better beach, and Cancun International is close enough that the transfer is short. The inclusive plan is the Hyatt Inclusive Collection standard with World of Hyatt earning attached.
The catches are the usual Hyatt Inclusive ones: scuba and airport transfers are not in the rate the way they are at Sandals, and cart and caddy terms should be confirmed rather than assumed. Costa Mujeres is still filling in, with active construction in places. We have not published a full scored review.
The good
- Complimentary guest access to the Greg Norman-designed 18-hole Playa Mujeres course
- The only entry here that will sell to a family rather than a couple
- A better beach than the Cancun Hotel Zone, a short airport transfer, and World of Hyatt earning
The trade-offs
- Scuba and airport transfers are not inside the rate
- Confirm cart and caddy charges — the inclusion wording covers course access
- Costa Mujeres still has active construction; no scored review from us
#5 · Best adults-only on a golf course
Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort
Secrets (Hyatt Inclusive Collection)
The adults-only resort on the same Greg Norman course — but here the green fees are discounted, not included.
Secrets Playa Mujeres is the adults-only sibling on the same Greg Norman-designed course, which makes it the obvious choice for two golfers who do not want children in the pool. The important distinction, and the reason it ranks below its sister: golf here is discounted rather than free. Guests get reduced green fees, not complimentary access.
Everything else is the Unlimited-Luxury proposition — a la carte dining with no reservations, premium spirits, 24-hour room service, tips and taxes in the rate — on the better beach north of Cancun, with World of Hyatt earning.
Over a week of daily rounds, a discount is a materially different number from an inclusion, which is exactly the trap this page exists to flag. Price the green fees for your dates before you choose between this and the Dreams property next door. No scored review from us.
The good
- Adults-only on the Greg Norman-designed Playa Mujeres course
- Full Unlimited-Luxury inclusive plan with no dinner reservations, plus World of Hyatt earning
- The calmer, better beach north of the Cancun Hotel Zone
The trade-offs
- Green fees are DISCOUNTED, not included — a materially different week's cost
- Scuba and airport transfers are not in the rate
- No scored review from us, so no rubric score
#6 · Best for course variety
Iberostar Selection Cancun
Iberostar
Its own 18-hole course on site at preferential rates, plus exchange privileges at nearby Iberostar courses.
Iberostar Selection Cancun has something no other entry here does: its own eighteen-hole championship course, the Iberostar Cancun Golf Club, on the property, with preferential rates for guests and exchange privileges at nearby Iberostar courses. For a golfer who wants to play more than one layout in a week without renting a car, that exchange is the draw.
It is in the Hotel Zone, which means Cancun International is close, flights are direct from most of the US, and the restaurants and bars of the strip are outside the gate.
The catch is the same as the entry above and it is the reason this is sixth: preferential rates are a discount, not an inclusion, so the golf is a line on your bill rather than a line in the rate. The Hotel Zone is also a busy strip rather than a secluded resort setting. We have not published a scored review.
The good
- An 18-hole championship course on the property, plus exchange privileges at nearby Iberostar courses
- Hotel Zone location: direct US flights, short transfer, a city outside the gate
- The widest course variety of anything on this page
The trade-offs
- Preferential rates are a discount, not an inclusion — the golf is still billed
- A busy Hotel Zone strip rather than a secluded setting
- No scored review from us, so no rubric score
#7 · Budget pick — cheapest that includes golf
Sandals Regency La Toc
Sandals
The cheapest resort we publish a rate for that includes golf — $288 per person per night, on a 220-acre estate with a published ten restaurants.
This is the budget pick. At $288 per person per night as of September 2026, La Toc is the cheapest resort for which this site publishes a rate that has golf inside it, and the inclusion comes from the same Sandals St. Lucia arrangement as the top pick: complimentary green fees for Sandals guests on the island, with transfers from nearby Sandals resorts.
What makes it good value beyond the golf is the dining bench. A published ten restaurants on a 220-acre Castries estate is the deepest included list under $300 per person anywhere we cover, and the Stay at One Play at Three exchange adds roughly twenty-eight restaurants across the three St. Lucia Sandals resorts to the same rate. Transfers, gratuities and scuba are included too, and at a published 34 miles and about an hour from Hewanorra it is the shortest Sandals transfer on the island.
The catches are that it is an older estate large enough to need a shuttle, the beach is good rather than the island's best, and it is couples-only. We have not published a full scored review of La Toc.
The good
- The cheapest rate we publish that includes golf, at $288 per person per night
- A published ten restaurants inside the rate, plus roughly 28 across the three St. Lucia Sandals
- Transfers, gratuities and scuba included, and the shortest Sandals airport run on the island
The trade-offs
- An older, large estate — you shuttle around it
- A good beach rather than St. Lucia's best
- Couples-only; no full scored review from us
Included, discounted, or nearby — the three words that decide the bill
This is the whole page in one paragraph. Included means the green fee is inside your rate: Sandals in St. Lucia and the Bahamas per the brand's own golf pages, Couples Resorts in Jamaica with unlimited golf, and Dreams Playa Mujeres with complimentary course access. Discounted means a reduced green fee you still pay: Secrets Playa Mujeres and Iberostar Selection Cancun. Nearby means a course exists in the area and nothing about it is in your rate, which describes most resorts marketed under this search term.
Over seven days of daily rounds for two players, the gap between included and discounted is easily four figures. It is the single largest variable on a golf week and it is almost never on the resort's headline.
Ask about the cart separately, because it frequently survives the inclusion
Sandals' own Emerald Bay page states that golf carts are mandatory but not included and lists a US$50 rate for up to two people. One third-party listing for the same course describes a shared cart and caddy as included. We print both because they cannot both be current, and because this pattern repeats across the category: the green fee is the headline inclusion and the cart, the caddy, the club rental and the practice balls are separate lines.
Get the cart policy in writing for your dates, along with whether clubs can be rented on site. On a mandatory-cart course, a $50 cart over six rounds is $300 that your all-inclusive rate did not cover.
Check who the resort will sell to before you check the course
The two brands with the best golf inclusions are both couples-only. Sandals will not sell a room unless you are two people traveling together, and nor will Couples Resorts — which rules out the classic golf trip with three friends entirely, regardless of budget.
If your party does not fit, the realistic shortlist is Dreams Playa Mujeres, which takes families and includes course access; Secrets Playa Mujeres, which is adults-only and discounts the green fees; or Iberostar Selection Cancun with its on-site course at preferential rates. Our adults-only and family roundups filter the wider field on the same question.

Frequently Asked Questions
- A short list. Sandals' own golf pages state complimentary green fees for guests in St. Lucia — at the Greg Norman-remodeled Cap Estate course, with free transfers from nearby Sandals resorts — and at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, where the Greg Norman course is on the property. Couples Resorts in Jamaica includes unlimited golf. Dreams Playa Mujeres gives golfers complimentary access to the Greg Norman-designed Playa Mujeres course. Most other resorts marketed as all-inclusive golf resorts discount green fees rather than including them.
