Best-of Guide
The Best All-Inclusive Resorts in Aruba
Our top pick is Secrets Baby Beach Aruba — the island's only contemporary whole-property adults-only all-inclusive, opened in June 2025 with 304 suites, seven dining venues, six bars, three pools and a 3,200-square-foot spa — for a couple who want a modern inclusive plan and will accept a remote location to get it. The value pick is the Divi and Tamarijn pair, Aruba's long-standing shared-facility all-inclusives and the cheapest genuine inclusive week on the island. And if you want adults-only on Palm Beach with the strip at the door, it is Hotel Riu Palace Antillas, 482 junior suites with a 24-hour inclusive plan.
The honest framing first, because it decides the whole search: Aruba is a room-only island. Its restaurant culture, its bus network and its capital are the reason people go, and the all-inclusive field is small, exceptional and sits awkwardly against that. Several properties marketed under this search term are not whole-property all-inclusives at all — they sell an optional plan on top of a room rate, sometimes with a nightly resort fee folded inside it, and one widely listed resort is not adults-only despite what the published roundups say.
So this page ranks on the plan rather than on the resort: mandatory whole-property inclusive first, optional plans second, and we state the catch on every row. Our Aruba adults-only roundup asks a different question — whether all-inclusive is even the right buy for a couple — and keeps the Eagle Beach boutiques and the Renaissance's private island in frame. This page covers the whole inclusive field, families included. Aruba rates are deliberately not printed because they move too fast; tap Check Rates on any row for live pricing.

How we chose
We ranked on whether the inclusive plan is mandatory and whole-property, then on what it actually covers, then on whether you are on the sand. Room counts, dining counts and plan terms come from brand pages, tourism-board listings and the published reviews we cite — and where sources disagree, we print the disagreement rather than resolving it, because on Aruba they disagree a lot. No entry carries one of our rubric scores because we have not reviewed an Aruba property in full, and no entry carries a printed rate, consistent with the rest of our Aruba coverage.
#1 · Best all-inclusive plan
Secrets Baby Beach Aruba
Secrets (Hyatt Inclusive Collection)
The island's only contemporary whole-property adults-only all-inclusive — 304 suites, seven restaurants, no reservations needed — thirty minutes from everything.
If the requirement is a genuine whole-property all-inclusive with the modern Unlimited-Luxury product — a la carte gourmet dining, premium spirits, 24-hour room service, tips and taxes inside the rate — this is the only property on Aruba that delivers it at a contemporary standard. It opened in June 2025 as the island's first Inclusive Collection resort: 304 suites, seven dining venues, six bars, three pools including two infinity pools, and a 3,200-square-foot spa with a hydrotherapy circuit. The minimum age is eighteen, and no restaurant takes reservations, which at this size is a real advantage over the queueing at the larger Riu.
For World of Hyatt members it is one of the better redemptions in the collection, and cash rates run materially below the Palm Beach chains for a newer and better-specified room. Preferred Club adds a dedicated lounge and pool plus private plunge pools and terrace soaking tubs in select categories.
The catch is the location and it needs saying plainly, because the resort's photography does not. It sits on the far southeastern tip near San Nicolas, about thirty minutes from the airport and thirty-five from Palm Beach, on a coast shared with Aruba's decommissioned oil refinery — depending on the room, the view includes smokestacks. Despite the name it is not on Baby Beach: that is a five-to-seven-minute walk, and there is no private beach at the resort. Opening-year reports flag staffing shortages, largely absent butler service, hour-long peak-season dinner waits and mold in bathrooms only months old.
The good
- The only contemporary whole-property adults-only all-inclusive on Aruba — 304 suites, 7 restaurants, 6 bars
- No restaurant reservations required, and a 3,200 sq ft spa with a hydrotherapy circuit
- Newest rooms in the inclusive field, and a strong World of Hyatt redemption
The trade-offs
- Remote southeastern location beside a decommissioned refinery; some rooms face smokestacks
- Not on the beach despite the name — Baby Beach is a five-to-seven-minute walk
- Opening-year understaffing, absent butler service, long dinner waits and reported bathroom mold
#2 · Best on Palm Beach
Hotel Riu Palace Antillas
RIU Hotels & Resorts
The original adults-only all-inclusive on Palm Beach — 482 junior suites, a 24-hour plan, and Pacha nights in the rate.
Riu Palace Antillas is the property most people mean when they search this term, and for a specific traveler it is still the right answer. It is eighteen-and-over across the whole property and directly on Palm Beach, which means the sand, the sea and the entire high-rise strip of restaurants and bars are at the door. Every one of the 482 rooms is a junior suite with a balcony or terrace, a stocked minibar and an in-room liquor dispenser.
The inclusive plan runs twenty-four hours: five restaurants (a buffet and four specialty rooms), five bars including a swim-up, non-motorised watersports, and entry with drinks to the Pacha nightclub six nights a week. It is also the cheapest genuine adults-only all-inclusive on the island by some margin.
The catch is that 482 rooms and four specialty restaurants do not divide well, and RIU does not take reservations: guest reports describe sixty-to-120-minute waits at the a la carte rooms in peak season, a beach-chair competition that starts at six in the morning, inconsistent availability of the premium spirits the plan advertises, and nightly shows that underwhelm. Rooms were reported renovated in 2024-2025 by one source while another describes them as updated several years back, so ask which block you are in. Whether guests can cross-dine at Riu Palace Aruba next door is stated both ways by published sources — treat exchange privileges as something to confirm with RIU rather than assume.
The good
- Whole-property adults-only (18+) and directly on Palm Beach with the strip walkable
- 24-hour all-inclusive: five restaurants, five bars, in-room liquor dispenser, Pacha entry six nights a week
- All 482 rooms are junior suites; the most affordable genuine adults-only all-inclusive on the island
The trade-offs
- No dinner reservations: 60-120 minute waits at the specialty restaurants reported in peak season
- Beach-chair rush from six in the morning, inconsistent premium spirits, underwhelming shows
- Renovation dates and cross-dining privileges are reported inconsistently — confirm both before booking
#3 · Value pick — cheapest genuine inclusive week
Divi Aruba All Inclusive and Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive
Divi Resorts
Aruba's long-standing all-inclusive pair, sharing facilities across a single beachfront campus — and the island's best-value inclusive week.
This is the value pick and the island's longest-established answer to the search. Divi Aruba and Tamarijn Aruba sit on the same stretch of Druif Beach south of Oranjestad and share facilities, so a guest at either can use both — which is what makes the pair work: two modest resorts behave like one large one, and the combined inclusive plan covers more venues than either could alone. Tamarijn is described as a 236-room low-rise, and one guide reports that all of its rooms face the ocean.
Unlike almost everything else on Aruba, these are genuine mandatory all-inclusives rather than optional plans, they take families as well as couples, and they are consistently the cheapest route to an inclusive week on the island.
The published counts for the shared facilities disagree sharply and we print them rather than pick one: one listing counts fifteen restaurants and twelve bars across four Divi-brand resorts with eleven pools; a second gives the shared Divi and Tamarijn plan as eleven dining options, eight bars and five pools; a third puts the combined total at thirteen restaurants and bars with ten pools. Treat the number as several rather than exact and confirm which venues your specific resort and plan can access. These are also older, lower-key properties than the Palm Beach new-builds, on a quieter beach away from the strip.
The good
- Genuine mandatory all-inclusive, not an optional plan, and the cheapest inclusive week on Aruba
- Two resorts share facilities across one beachfront campus, so the venue list is wider than either alone
- Takes families as well as couples, on a quieter beach south of Oranjestad
The trade-offs
- Published restaurant, bar and pool counts disagree across three sources — confirm what your plan covers
- Older and lower-key than the Palm Beach new-builds
- Away from the Palm Beach strip, so less walkable nightlife
#4 · Best for families on Palm Beach
Hotel Riu Palace Aruba
RIU Hotels & Resorts
The family sister to Riu Palace Antillas — a reported 400-plus rooms on Palm Beach with the same 24-hour inclusive program.
Riu Palace Aruba is the family-capable half of the RIU pair on Palm Beach and the straightforward answer for a family who want a mandatory whole-property inclusive plan in the middle of everything. One tourism-board-based listing reports 400-plus rooms and five on-site restaurants, running RIU's 24-hour all-inclusive program, and another guide calls it the easiest all-round choice for families on the island.
Being on Palm Beach is the main argument: the strip's restaurants, bars and watersports are outside the door, the beach is the island's busiest and best-serviced, and the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton share the same sand — which is a reasonable proxy for how developed the amenities are.
The catches are the RIU catches documented at its adults-only sister next door and they should be assumed to apply here: no dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants, peak-season waits, a morning beach-chair rush, and premium-spirit availability that guest reports describe as inconsistent. Whether guests can cross-dine between the two Riu Palace properties is reported both ways by published sources, so confirm it rather than plan around it.
The good
- A reported 400-plus rooms with five restaurants and RIU's 24-hour inclusive program
- Directly on Palm Beach — the island's most developed beach, with the strip walkable
- Takes families, with a mandatory whole-property plan rather than an optional one
The trade-offs
- RIU's no-reservations model means peak-season waits at the specialty restaurants
- Beach-chair competition and inconsistent premium spirits reported at the brand's Aruba properties
- Cross-dining with Riu Palace Antillas is reported inconsistently — confirm with RIU
#5 · Best dining bench on the strip
Barcelo Aruba
Barcelo Hotel Group
A reported 370 rooms and suites with seven restaurants and four bars, on Palm Beach — the third inclusive option on the strip.
Barcelo Aruba is the third inclusive option on Palm Beach and the one with the deepest reported restaurant count on the strip: one comparison lists it at 370 rooms and suites with seven restaurants and four bars. For a week where the resort is doing most of the feeding, seven venues divides better across a 370-room property than five does across 482.
The location argument is the same as the two RIU properties — on the sand, with the strip and its restaurants, bars and watersports outside the gate, and a short transfer from the airport.
The catch is that published Aruba counts are unreliable across the board and we have not been able to corroborate the seven-restaurant figure against the brand's own page, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed and check the current venue list for your dates. It takes families as well as couples, which also means it is not the resort for a couple wanting a child-free week — that is Antillas or Secrets Baby Beach. No scored review from us.
The good
- A reported seven restaurants and four bars across 370 rooms — a better venue-to-room ratio than its RIU neighbors
- Directly on Palm Beach with the strip and the watersports outside the gate
- Takes families as well as couples, with a short airport transfer
The trade-offs
- The restaurant count is reported by a third party and not corroborated against the brand's own page
- Not adults-only — wrong resort for a couple wanting a child-free week
- A high-rise strip property rather than a quiet or distinctive one
#6 · Best optional plan
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort
Renaissance Hotels (Marriott Bonvoy)
An optional inclusive plan on a four-night minimum, and the only way to stay on Flamingo Beach — but the plan has a $69 nightly resort fee inside it.
The Renaissance is here for one thing nothing else on the island can copy: Renaissance Island, a forty-acre private island reached by the resort's water taxi from the marina in downtown Oranjestad, where Flamingo Beach — the one in every Aruba photograph — is reserved for adults, with children admitted only from nine to ten in the morning with a parent. Day passes are sold to outsiders only when hotel occupancy is under eighty percent and go on sale a week at a time, so staying here is the reliable way to see it.
The board is optional and that flexibility matters more here than anywhere else, because the hotel is in the middle of the capital with the restaurants of Oranjestad outside the door. An all-inclusive plan exists on a four-night minimum covering breakfast, lunch and dinner across the restaurants, unlimited house-brand drinks and gratuities. Seven restaurants, a spa, the Renaissance Mall and two casinos are shared across the 555-room property.
Three catches. The inclusive rate, per the resort's own terms, folds in a $69 nightly resort fee plus the environmental levy — so compare the inclusive and room-only numbers with those lines in view rather than on the headline. Adults-only applies only to the 297-room Marina Hotel side; the Ocean Suites side takes families and the island's Iguana Beach is family territory, so book the Marina side specifically. And there is no beach at the hotel itself: every beach day starts with a boat.
The good
- The only way to stay on Renaissance Island — Flamingo Beach is adults-only and day passes are rationed
- The inclusive plan is optional on a four-night minimum, with seven restaurants and two casinos shared
- Oranjestad's own restaurants are outside the door, which is the point of an optional plan
The trade-offs
- The inclusive rate folds in a $69 nightly resort fee plus the environmental levy
- Adults-only applies to ONE SIDE of a 555-room split property — book the Marina Hotel specifically
- No beach at the hotel: every beach day is a water-taxi ride to the island
#7 · Best new rooms
JOIA Aruba by Iberostar
JOIA by Iberostar (IHG)
The newest hardware on Eagle Beach with a flexible inclusive plan — and the island's most commonly miscategorised resort.
JOIA opened at the turn of 2025 as the newest resort on Eagle Beach: 240 suites from 592 to 1,313 square feet, every one with a private terrace hot tub, three pools including an infinity pool, restaurants headed by Bucatini, Marea and GAIA House of Grill, a rooftop bar called Zima, and Spa Sensations with a hydrotherapy circuit and seven treatment rooms. Board is flexible — room-only, or an inclusive plan covering breakfast, lunch and dinner at Bucatini and Marea with bar service at four venues.
Here is the correction, and it is the most important line on this page. JOIA properties are adults-only almost everywhere the brand operates, and published Aruba roundups list this one among the island's adults-only all-inclusives. It is not. Children are welcome, there is no minimum guest age, and the resort runs a complimentary kids' club for ages four to twelve. What is adults-only is the Zima rooftop bar. A Tripadvisor review from a guest who booked it as a child-free resort is titled, verbatim, This is NOT an adults only resort.
The rest of the catch is about the first year and the plan's edges. It sits across J.E. Irausquin Boulevard from the sand rather than on it — a two-minute crossing, but a crossing. It opened at roughly eighty percent complete, with construction noise and missing amenities reported through early 2025. The Star Prestige pool is closed to base all-inclusive guests and its pricing was reported as poorly communicated at booking, and the Infini fine-dining room runs $50 or more a head on top of the inclusive plan.
The good
- 240 suites from 592 to 1,313 sq ft, every one with a private terrace hot tub — the newest rooms in the field
- Flexible board: room-only or an inclusive plan, which suits Aruba's restaurant culture
- A rooftop bar, a hydrotherapy spa with seven treatment rooms, and the island's widest beach opposite
The trade-offs
- NOT an adults-only resort: no minimum age and a kids' club for ages 4-12, whatever published lists say
- Across the boulevard from Eagle Beach, not on it; opened ~80% complete with construction noise into early 2025
- Star Prestige pool off-limits to base inclusive guests; Infini is a $50-plus surcharge
On Aruba, all-inclusive is the exception rather than the default
This is the single most useful thing to understand before booking here. Aruba has a capital, a bus network and a restaurant culture, and the island's best-reviewed hotels are deliberately not all-inclusive — Bucuti & Tara, Tripadvisor's number-one hotel in the Caribbean for 2025, states on its own site that it is not all-inclusive and will not become one, and sends guests out to twenty island restaurants on a dine-around plan instead.
So the first question is not which all-inclusive but whether you want one. If you would rather eat around the island than at one resort for a week, an optional plan or a breakfast-and-dine-around model will serve you better and cost less. Our Aruba adults-only roundup ranks the field on exactly that question. If you do want everything paid for in advance, the genuine mandatory options are Secrets Baby Beach, the two Riu Palace properties, Barcelo and the Divi and Tamarijn pair — and that is close to the whole list.
Read the plan, not the label — and watch for a resort fee inside the inclusive rate
Two properties on this page sell an optional plan rather than a mandatory one: the Renaissance on a four-night minimum, and JOIA, where the plan covers two of the restaurants with bar service at four venues. Optional is often the better buy on this island, but it means the headline inclusive rate and the room-only rate are not comparable.
The Renaissance's own terms are the clearest example of why: its all-inclusive rate folds in a $69 nightly resort fee plus the environmental levy. Over seven nights that is a material sum sitting inside a number presented as all-in. Ask what the inclusive rate contains besides food and drink before you compare it with anything.
Check the age policy and the zone, because published lists get both wrong
JOIA Aruba is listed as adults-only across published Aruba roundups and it is not: children are welcome, there is no minimum guest age, and there is a kids' club for ages four to twelve — only the rooftop bar is adults-only. The Renaissance is adults-only on one side of a 555-room split property, so booking the resort rather than the Marina Hotel specifically will put you in shared spaces with families. The genuinely whole-property adults-only inclusive options are Secrets Baby Beach and Riu Palace Antillas.
Zone matters almost as much. High-rise Palm Beach puts you on the busiest, best-serviced sand with the strip walkable. Low-rise Eagle Beach is wider and quieter, but most hotels there — JOIA included — sit across the boulevard rather than on the sand. The remote south, where Secrets Baby Beach sits, is thirty-plus minutes from everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
- No, and that is the key fact about this search. Aruba is a room-only island with a capital, a bus network and a strong restaurant culture, and its best-reviewed hotels are deliberately not all-inclusive. The genuine mandatory whole-property all-inclusives are Secrets Baby Beach, the two Riu Palace properties, Barcelo Aruba and the Divi and Tamarijn pair. Several other resorts marketed under this term sell an optional plan on top of a room rate.
